The Nikola Tesla Association – Genius for the Future , in cooperation with the Union of Croatian Innovators and the Croatian Association of Technical Culture, organized the lecture „Developmentof Creativity as the Key to High Quality Development of Each Child“. Ms Vesna Mlinar, the high school art teacher, gave the lecture on April 9th, 2014 in a big hall of the Association of the Croatian Association of Technical Culture.

Ms Mlinar emphasized the important role of the education system which should, as she said, teach children how to think divergently and how to bring them up and enable them to solve everyday problems. Her opinion is that it's a preconditions to the development of children's creativity.

It was the lecture provided for persons engaged in education of children from kindergarten to high school age. She also presented opinions of distinguished psychologists and neurologists about the importance of development of children's creativity and showed a few excercises and methods that may help in creativity development, such as mathematical stories and mental and association excercises.
