EXHIBITION OPENING NIKOLA TESLA – MIND FROM THE FUTURE

At Meštovic pavillion on 24th of November was open the multimedia exhibition honouring Nikola Tesla – Mind from the future. The exhibition was open by Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, the President of the Republic of Croatia, and at the opening were present Mr. Milan Bandić, the Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Mr. Gordan Jandroković, President of the Croatian assembly, Mr. Tomislav Ćorić, Minister of Environment and Energy, also a big number of dignitaries from the political, economical, cultural and public life of of Croatia. At the opening of the exhibition was also present Ms. Dragica Mihajlović, President of the Association of Nikola Tesla – Genious for the future. The Accociation is also one of the collaborative organisations of the exhibitions.

The exhibition Nikola Tesla –Mind from the future is one of the biggest exhibitions set up in Croatia, and several hunderd of people participated in preparation.This inter-active exhibition is an interesting journey through Tesla's life, from his birth place Smiljani until New York. Mrs. Helena Bulaja Madunić, multimedia artist, film director, scriptwriter, designer and film producer is the author and the curator of the exhibition. Mr. Sascha Machiedo, industrial designer and museum consultant is the Project director, Real Group Agency is the main producing company of the project. The Croatian Association of the Visual Artists (HDLU) is the partner of the exhibition..

At the exhibition were introduced the works of the contemporary croatian artists inspired by Tesla like: Pero Jelisić, Vitar Drinković, Nikola Vudrag, Ida Blažićko, Alma Trtovac, Patricija Purgar i Janko Ivčić, Alana Kajfež, Mile Blažević, Ivan Kujundžić and Ivana Ožetski.

The exhibition can be visited until 20t of March 2018. After that, it travels to the cities that marked Tesla's life: Budapest, Praha, Pariz and New York. As the last place of exhibition is announced Dubai.
